Software Project Manager Roles and Responsibilities
Reporting to: CEO
Team: Development
Primary Focus: To implement and manage systems and processes necessary to ensure the timely delivery of components and services, adhering to control gates through each stage of the development lifecycle, and meeting all relevant quality

Secondary Focus: To effectively manage the schedule of all development resources in order to maximise productivity to meet targets and deadlines, mitigating
delays and foreseeing potential risks.

The Software Project Manager is responsible for coordinating each stage of the mobile app development and promptly communicating the progress with key
stakeholders. You will set targets and ensuring that they are met on time whilst also motivating the team. It will be the SPM responsibility to keep the team on track, steering against any deviations from the set goals.

The company controls designs and manufactures a highly successful range of PCIe and USB electronic modules for the industrial measurement and control market. These modules offer key functions such as motion control and machine vision. They in turn require software support ranging from operating system device drivers through to user application software. Further software is required for the production testing of the modules. Currently the majority of the software targets windows operating systems and is based in ‘C’ and ‘C++’/MFC.
